Dr. Matt Thomas, D.C.
Dr. Matt Thomas is a board certified chiropractor serving Thomaston and surrounding communities. He is a native of Michigan's Upper Peninsula. He attended St. Cloud State University in MN, then Palmer College of Chiropractic in Iowa graduating in 2005.
While studying at Palmer College of Chiropractic, Dr. Thomas became proficient in numerous manual spinal and extremity adjusting techniques including Gonstead, Diversified, Thompson Drop and a non-forceful instrument adjusting technique.
He is board certified in Physiotherapy offering therapeutic ultrasound and muscle stimulation as ancillary procedures to adjustments and therapeutic exercises are given when needed.
In 2003 he completed a comprehensive training program in whiplash through the Spine Research Institute of San Diego. He has continued his post graduate education in Clinical Neuroscience and Rehabilitation through the Carrick Institute.
He traveled to the Fijian Islands with a select group of students and doctors on a mission trip in 2004. In 2014 he was selected to serve as a Palmer College faculty clinician for a mission trip to India.
Dr. Thomas is excited to be living in the midcoast region and feels privileged to offer what chiropractic healthcare has given him - the gift of a healthier life.
